MERINA — Reproduction & Adaptation Analysis
Meta-RL adaptive bitrate streaming, with cross-dataset and Puffer adaptation analysis.
Reproduction of MERINA (ACM MM ‘22), a meta-reinforcement-learning approach to adaptive bitrate (ABR) video streaming. Beyond reproducing the method, this repository adds CPU-compatibility fixes, a reproducible adaptation procedure, and a cross-dataset plus Puffer adaptation analysis examining how well the learned controller generalizes to unseen network conditions.
